Re: Running on raspberry pi
Apparently Wine, at least the Rpi3 version, only supports up to .NET Framework 4.0.30319 and supposedly compatibility up to WinXP. I'm still going to try the install but I imagine it's in vain, unfortunately. The log, for anyone curious: Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could no...

Re: Running on raspberry pi
Well I had plans to buy a license to run some other older Windows software so above and beyond figuring out Wine, I've thus far been amazed at the capability of this stock board. No qualms with a little guinea pigging. I had a lot of success running Windows on a Mac through Boot Camp in the Vista er...

Running on raspberry pi
Hi guise, I had read something on reddit from the early stages of development that Ember would eventually run on Mac and Linux, and that it also was possible to run through Wine. I was curious, since I was planning on getting a license to Eltechs' Exagear, which is an x86 compatibility layer that wo...

Re: Protect
In that case, if a Guardian is protecting another player, they can use 3 of their attacks to return fire on the assailing party, heal themselves or their own party, and any hit that they return to your protected character will receive a 60% damage riposte from you, essentially? That would add up to ...

Re: Bard/Minstrel Mechanics
I like the idea of an accessory slot for a musical instrument and the ability to have a weapon equipped as well. I think with the slot empty you can't sing/play and once equipped give a bonus to song power with different tier instruments as the bard progresses. I think they should be able to attack ...

Communication til the client is up
Is there anything like IRC these days for us all to kind of idle/brainstorm in a live chat medium?

Re: 1 Character
You've got my vote for this as well. Everything is easier to balance and it makes utility classes much beloved. The whole point of the game, to me, is to be an in-game version of Me, not this me, that me, the other me.

Re: HP Gains
I'm all for there being no "dump" stats, but Nightmist frustrates me to no end with random hp gains because it can feel like you're weaker (or stronger) than people who worked just as hard to get to be your level. I feel like I have to get a character reset by the time I'm level 10 due to ...

HP Gains
Are hp gains going to be modified by charisma bonus this time around? I for one enjoyed static gains and with barbarian/knight hp bonus I think it's a little more viable for scaling to 25 and save a mess down the road of further level tiering.
