Expired items seem to work for quest turn ins, which obviously defeats the purpose. Are they supposed to disappear when they expire or what exactly is supposed to happen? I assumed they would disappear or they would not be acceptable for turnins, but as of now they seem to work just fine. Specifically talking about Dreadlands keys but I assume it may apply to others as well (gold key now?).

Expired items mean that when the timer hits 0, the item vanishes. They will remove from your inventory (or should). Just because they have a expire doesn't mean they aren't useful though. They can still be used up until it vanishes.

Right I figured that, but they don't seem to be vanishing. The line about expiring just gets removed and the item stays.

What item are you talking about? The necklace doesn't have a expire timer. Golden key works okay, just tested it. There is a display bug that i will fix tomorrow but otherwise it does display proper

Was referring to the crystals that are needed for a quest. Organic crystal, Static crystal, etc. Sorry I shoulda been more clear!

I see they have a expire time of 7 days though, so maybe its just the display bug occuring here. I don't think keys been around for that long just yet or maybe I'm wrong? Do you have a key with no expiry atm?

Yes they do have an expiration timer and they've been around that long, but no I don't have an expired one anymore (that's how I knew they can be turned in, by using one). If I end up with another I will let you know, or maybe others have one they are willing to show you.
