Over the past week with some great player suggestions we revamped/modified two areas slightly. I feel we need to do a better job of filling in players on content changes (otherwise how will they know when to checkout new stuff?). I wont reveal too much but you guys should at least know there is some new stuff worth checking out.
Kakegi Grove Changes
-Adjusted quests and items above to be closer to guidelines. This area and its quests should seem like less of a grind now (less kills/items needed to complete quests)
-Broke the final grove quest into 2 quests (this should make progression a bit smoother)
-Some monster exp was lowered because it was above guidelines.
Item reward changes
-Blood Saber is now green should be 15 - 19 now (+1min)
-Changed Razorfist to +1min -1max so its diff than Defiled Warmace (same overall damage)
-Mithril light shield was level 15 while all the other rewards were level 20. Its now level 20 and 9 instead of 8 armor.
-Added little something in final quest to lead to wastelands for next series of quests.
Dreadlands Changes
Archfiend Elemental Boss
-Archfiend now has a new trick up his sleeve and might be relying on the elements for some help.
-Archfiend elemental will now spawn at reset (no more showing up to him not having yet spawned)
-Added back backstab loop on archfiend
-Removed kickout from vila traps (you cant just log off at arch then go to vila then log off again and get a free ride out).
-Added back vila traps blocking movement around arch.
Elemental Key bosses
-Bosses will now all spawn twice a day rather than throughout the day.
-5 new elementals will spawn in the morning while the old ones will spawn at night (hopefully both at peak hours for further pvp interaction)
-Keys dropped by these npcs will only last 2 days compared to 7 meaning there will be more urgency to run this boss.
-Keys will drop 100% on player death as well now (yay pvp).
-Added back vila sprouts to elemental key boss rooms.
-Key rooms/platforms now kickout to closest vila traps.
Other NPCs
-Astral Archer now spawns a bit less but has a higher drop rate on a few things. (this wasnt getting killed much but now should be a little more worthy of killing)
-Astral Archer has a new attack as well.
-Charmtress now cast some interesting spells on you and maybe even heals you?
Item Changes
-Void fragment and dreadhide are now rarity 1 (they are for quests we dont want people just selling them)
-Void crystal that is for a quest at the end of killing the arch is now rarity 3 so you know its important.

Regarding changes on Dreadlands, this seems mostly ok, but I am concerned about your approach to void fragments, and lack of changes in the current quests:
- Void fragments are already hilariously hard to get. Plus there are several quests that demand these, that I havent finished - and I like doing quests..
- Quests in dread lands seem to be a bit unbalanced. There is a quest that demands the actual OAD keys, does anyone finish this?
- The last quest on the dreadlands, you need to deliver a void thingy that is dropped by the last boss. Thing is, its more profitable to sell the thingy than to complete the quest
Regarding changes on Dreadlands, this seems mostly ok, but I am concerned about your approach to void fragments, and lack of changes in the current quests:
- Void fragments are already hilariously hard to get. Plus there are several quests that demand these, that I havent finished - and I like doing quests..
- Quests in dread lands seem to be a bit unbalanced. There is a quest that demands the actual OAD keys, does anyone finish this?

I was confused as well by the "rarity 1" bit with regards to the void fragments, but I think what Lat means is making them green so you cant accidentally sell them (you get the "are you sure you want to sell this message" with green+ items). So I do not think the item drop chance will be lower (right Lat?).
I think the OAD keys get combined into 1 key to do the quest (so you need to do this quest to get to the boss).
Not sure about the last one, can't remember if I have done that quest or not.

He means color only when he changes the rarity color. So it's not gray in your inventory anymore.

Void ooze is also needed for a couple of the quests, but meh.
You could just have a colour for item drops that are needed for quests, then you cover all bases?

This - for the benefit of newbies mostly. I think its very frustrating to sell stuff that then you find out you need for a quest

This all sounds great.
Agree with JF about reducing void frags. JF - the quest where you turn crystals in is what gives you the key to open the boss room. It's a daily quest, so yes it gets done
. I've never actually sold the Void Crystal - the quest reward is 5k and again this is a daily quest.
Agree on quest items being a diff color but that's an entirely different topic really.

Eh, I updated the wiki a little to try and help with this problem. Off course, that works on the assumption that new players (and anyone else) will actually read it. So still better to have something in game perchance.

Void frags will actually drop a bit more from the astral archer but I will take a look at the overall drop rate compared to ones requested in the quests.
As folder said thats to get the key to the boss so yes it gets done but its more of a team thing than an individual actually completing it.
The void crystal quest should work properly again. You can sell it back to the shop keeper for 3k or complete the quest for 5k up to you.

yes I would love for quest items to have their own colors and for the most part be bind on pickup. I mean should you really be able to collect items on your high alt to hand over to your lowbie and speed level? prob not. Anyways im not sure what colors we have left for quest items. maybe the same purple pink color as the quest givers?

Drop rate on frags isn't exactly terrible, it's just the high # required imo. You need...65? 80? If you wanted to do all the void frag quests that is.
