I'm sure you guys seen now when you are exhausted you see your timer. It works pretty nice anyways. Right now it's not synced. I had tried to sync it but realized peoples computer times can be slightly off and it messes up the timers. When it gets your data it just simply runs the timer client side.
I'm not sure if this is a great idea though. I think it's okay until lag sets in, but I mean syncing wouldn't really solve that. It only adjusts client latency if its correct.
I have an idea to fix it, which involves grabbing time online at a website, and then also getting a latency check. Both these combined should give an accurate time. But it won't help if the server ever does hiccup. This might be overdoing it though, I don't really know yet.
What does everyone think of it?
Exhaust Bar Timer
Re: Exhaust Bar Timer
I feel it wouldn't benefit anyone other than as an information tool. If the server or client cpu decides to have a siezure it should be a short term, self correcting problem. As for lag.. well it would be nice to know the internet gods are really causing you problems and its not your imagination. I wouldn't throw much effort into it right now but it might be a tool to have for later debugging tools

Re: Exhaust Bar Timer
Yea I don't think it's a huge deal anyways since your timing adds a bit of tactic to battle anyways.
Now I wouldn't mind seeing a cool down timer for buffs and debuffs but that could get confusing too. Would be cool to see how much time left in my stone skin spell or how much longer FF is going to last on my assassin.
