Two quick questions about this.
Should arrows be auto soulbound or not? When it comes to stackable items right now, they can either be all SB'd, or not at all. AKA bind on pickup.
Bows work without arrows, but arrows will give extra damage or divinity damage. They don't do amazing damage as it is, but it all helps. Mainly because the pet they'll have will also hurt too since it scales with you.
What should arrows be stackable too? Mind you that there is one arrow slot. 99? 200? 500? etc? Virtually any amount up to 999 is possible now with 1.2.0.0.
Other then that you'll have to see how it works when it's in 8)

Auto a SB I would say and they would be in a quiver but all those numbers are insanly high but I guess I would go with 99 or 100 since I dislike odd numbers.

would it be possible to level lock the amount you can carry? At lower levels you can carry a max of 100 or however many, then at level 25 carry 999 or whatever is decided upon?

You forget that every round you'll lose 3-4 arrows though. It will drop quickly. The idea isn't that they have to keep adding to the slot every 5 minutes because they run out though.
Amount/Rounds=Total Rounds Until empty*Exhaust Timer=Seconds amount.
100/3=33 rounds before empty. 33*8=264 seconds or 4.4 minutes.
100/4=25 rounds before empty. 25*8=200 seconds or 3.3 minutes.
The idea is not to be annoying though. They have to move the arrows to the slot or use the generic /equip command. I'd say because of player delays and the like you can probably add almost another minute to those times above. That's maximum speed though.

There is no point to level lock it I feel because it doesn't really affect gameplay for the maximum. Plus I'd have to code something for that, since it doesnt' exist, seems like a right hassle that I'd like to avoid and use what we have, least for now.

why not just settle all the debating granted you wont use them all but set it at 999 then there is no arguement

Probably need coding but would be cool to have a % chance to pick your arrow back up.

Set the quiver max to 50, since you can carry more of them in your inventory and refill your quiver as necessary.

hmm kinda mixed on this Im not a huge fan of arrows in general just because it seems to over complicate things a bit. I like that they work without arrows but seems weird to have other arrows to use too. Maybe they could just create a coating of some type that is applied. Say you can create a poison and a div coating that you can apply (much like how the scrolls work?) to put a new on youd break the old (still would have a gold sink and it would make more sense seeing you didnt have invisible arrows and div arrows)? idk just an idea.

Bows still function without arrows, they just lose the bonus of the arrows.
