World Map Question

In RoK, we went through and re-did the map so that areas didn't awkwardly overlap with other areas when mapped out onto a single global map. Is this something that you want in Ember too?

I started mapping out every area in the game currently to have a master map for reference, and I found that Kakegi overlaps with the city of Canopia. I'm not done yet, so I'm not sure if this happens anywhere else yet. Will post if I find other areas that run into this problem.

p.s. Chris why doesn't your map designer have the yellow tile for Ember?

I dunno, might of missed some when adding them. But I need to update it anyways, it crashes apparently on certain things that need to be solved.


P.S. UUUURGGGGH why did this even happen.

Yeah, I got errors when trying to add ladders iirc .

I don't want areas overlapping, no. I'll talk to Lat and Cerebrus and see what can be done to fix it. Let me know if you find other areas that have overlap.

Yeah that is the issue I need to fix, but can't until I am home for the map editor.

Yea I guess I didn't notice the swamp area went that east. It should def be remapped to not overlap. I'll be home later today and should be able to take a look.

Try making a new map now. You'll need to clear cache or remap the full grove to see the fixes though.
