Can we change monster order in a room so that the already damaged monsters are the ones that will be targeted first by a text command?
i.e. if i damage Monster X to critical and then someone else drags in another Monster X i have to kill both in order to reduce the damage I'm receiving (assuming i can't drag them away)
The same is also true if another Monster X spawns.
I've also heard from "click attackers" that they tend to click from the top downwards, as this usually lines up with what the "text attackers" are targeting.
However again this is thrown out by new monster spawns or by people dragging in other monsters.
This is very noticeable if you're levelling an assassin or levelling with an assassin (and i'm assuming thief too? although noone plays thieves)

The issue is then you run into problems if you want to specific target. Right now it specific targets if you use mouse, you can enable the IDs on monsters and attack via the IDs instead too ensuring you attack the same target always. Clicking with mouse however doesn't matter as it uses ID already so the critical monster will continue to die regardless. For 'in room' you have to use the ID atm. maybe I'll see about adjusting it in the future for normal attacks with command lines via lowest HP to highest, but I think the way the mouse functions is fine.
(If you wanna see the IDs there should be a option to enable it somewhere, then you can use 'a n41' for example. Takes a little getting used too but it works for monsters with same names.)
Re: Monster order in a room
the biggest issue for me is when monsters respawn while your party is on square. as soon as a monster respawns the wounded monster is sent to bottom of the screen order and macro using players hit the freshly summoned one.
this only happens with drags when you leave the square and come back onto it, usually slayer leader. leaving can also reset room order if you leave and come back with no drags so macros hit the same monster.
I pretty much use mouse for attacking unless full party with extra summons. i wish the monsters were always on top in the view screen, similar to oads.
