NiteHawk was explaining to me that the most recent room bug worked because we basically had a clone in the room that could see everything happening there even if we moved.
This made me think that it could actually be a really cool spell/ability to actually implement. Thieves/Assassins already have /autosneak for spying on squares, so this feels more like a spell for Necromancers/Sorcs. Imagine a Necro placing a resurrected eyeball in a room to spy on it.. 8)

Interesting idea, but only if there's a way to make it not work on rooms with hourly/daily spawns.

Nightmist does this with a rare item that they call a spy glass. its super awesome and adds some tactic to the game for sure. You can see everything on the square one square over.
