Uninstalled AV, upgraded to Win 10, all updates in, proper .NET installed, turned off windows firewall, re-downloaded the new launcher.....I still get the same message except this time it asks me if it is an AV block issue. I have no AV on this computer anymore except Windows Defender that naturally comes with it. It is turned off but even so I added the exceptions anyway....oh and because I have no EO folder I can't check to see what the Launcher logs say...

It stops at the same 3287 package out of 3301 of the extraction. There is nothing on to even block the program anymore.....ideas? :x

Look at the Launcher.log file. It will give you a specific error in it.

I'd advise deleting the folder where it installs completely.

Like I said in the post it doesn't make it past the extraction so....what folder....what logs...if it's not making it past the extraction then it's not installing it at all right? So no folder or launcher log file yes? I download the launcher rar to my downloads folder and extract it to my desktop. Launch the Launcher and it stops during extraction.

There will be a log in C:/ProgramData/Ember Online/ , and also the files that it has attempted to extracted, maybe you ran as admin the first time. (Though that cannot happen anymore you need to delete old files).

Deleting the entire folder worked. Thank you. Unfortunately I am logged on on my other laptop so i can't login on this one...but the character screen now shows.

It was probably an elevation issue but that shouldn't happen anymore.
