All characters, will last 1 month.

It's fine Randal. almost all classes got effected too. People will prob want INT on paladins, char on knights, etc etc. Easier to just say 'for all' because we have adjusted classes alot this past month.

Makes sense! With all the changes and now that we have things sorted this might be a good time to put some kind of notes or tips on the character creator. Not a lot of people read the forums so it's pretty much a wild stab on how to build your class. Over the past week I've explained to around 5 new players they might want to consider to allocate or recreate their character because their key stat is not being used like chr for rangers or bards. Creating a
Lizard ranger isn't really something you can even reallocate. By no means think we should tell players how to play. But some kind of guide would be nice. I know we got rid of the rok limitations but I don't think we considered they actually helped players make somewhat informed decisions when making a character. You simply couldn't create a ranger without 16 chr bc well it would suck for taming.

These are just kind of examples but hopefully you get the idea. I don't want limitations back just some tips and hints would be great.

I think part of the problem is that the website isn't very informative, which is a problem ROK had, too. It had a nice looking website, but there was exceptionally little information on it that explained anything at all about the game. I would even say ours is worse off, because there's a marketing paragraph, some screenshots, and not a lot else. I can't speak for most people, but I know I personally check out the website for a new game when I want to decide if I want to play it, and if I were coming across ours with no previous knowledge of ROK, it wouldn't make me want to take the time to download it.

In game content is important, but I would think having easily accessible information on the web for those still trying to decide if they want to try the game should rank as important, too.

Easiest thing for now would be to add a link to a page that opens up in the character editor, if someone wanted to make a quick page, that would be a easy add for now.

Hey NiteHawk/Satsu! I offered to try and help with this before. I don't know much about web design or anything like that but I'm sure Wikipedia pages can't be that difficult to edit, kind of like ROK wiki was? I volunteered before but I am unsure if you saw it. If you need some help and there is anything I can do, please let me know. You work super hard and deserve all the help you can get my man!

Not going to use that because the wiki is bloody slow atm. Just want to use a basic HTML page that will popup, no extra stuff 8) it should be a small window with no header or anything like that, just the info on the race you are on, and the class you are on.

Me and Evan are going to work on the content within it and if you see anything that needs added or better explained we would love your input.

Us rok players know how most things work but people coming from other games or whatever would have no idea a ranger would need chr so the idea here is to kind of nudge players in the right direction when creating a character.

Explain what races might match up with classes

Explain what skills they will be getting and what stats they will be using and so forth.

Maybe even noting on equipment and pointing out beginner to advance classes for play.
