Within this arcane tome, bound with the flesh of humans and inscribed with the blood of the dark elves, many of the mysteries of the Void, the Abyssal, and other dark and otherwordly places shall be revealed, at least in part. Much that I have attempted to transcribe into the dark libre has come to me in visions, or our sect has encountered first-hand.

 The Arcane Ones still desire to keep much hidden from us, and many other secrets revealed and alluded to within these passages were paid for by the blood and souls of many, fighting to keep this world to her own inhabitants.
