Inscribing
Inscribing is the process of creating runes that hold random Prefix and Suffix powers. Inscribing can also create special scrolls to further amplify your gear. Materials used to create inscriptions are gathered through disenchanting rare items. All Weapons, Armor, Off-Hand, and Helmets can hold both one Prefix and one Suffix. The inscription skill is obtained from Sylcyne Xyrrel and is leveled by crafting runes and scrolls.
- Off-hand denotes equipment inclusive of Tomes, Instruments, Codex, Talisman and Shields.
Disenchanting
Disenchanting is the process of breaking down select items and turning them into materials used for creating inscription runes. Disenchanting can be learned through a quest given by Sylcyne Xryrrel in Alderra. The minimum requirements to disenchant an item are as follows: Equipment level 20+ and rarity of Uncommon (Green) or above.
- Note: Disenchanting has a small inherent chance to produce double rewards.
